  • Best Buddies and Special Olympics campaign “Spread the Word to End the Word” advocates awareness of the derogatory use of the “R-word” and its negative effects on people with intellectual disabilities.  Here at Conway High School, we aim to inspire respect and acceptance through raising the consciousness of the R-word and how hurtful, dehumanizing, and exclusive it can be.  Wednesday, March 7th, is the national awareness day, and Caring Cats/Best Buddies will have a table set up in the cafeteria where you will have the opportunity to sign a banner, pledging to not use the “R-word” and to promote the inclusion of all people.  Stop by and make your pledge for Respect Wednesday for a free bracelet!

  • CHS BMI Screenings are scheduled for Thursday, March 1, 2018.  Height and weight measurements will be taken for all 10th grade students.  If a student does not wish to be measured, they must still report to the screening site and tell the nurse.  Each student must report to the screening site to have their name checked off the BMI list.
