Congratulations to the CHS Forensics team who brought home 1st place for their Words & Music entry at the Searcy High School Forensics & Debate tournament! They performed The Telephone Hour from the musical Bye Bye Birdie. Students are in Forensics I at classes at CHS taught by Mrs. Casey Griffith. This 1st place award has qualified them to compete at the state Tournament of Champions in April where they will vie to become state champions.

Congratulations to the CHS Forensics & Debate Teams for their accomplishments at the Cabot High School forensics and debate tournament! Bringing home awards were Mary Nail (1st place Original Oratory, 4th place Prose), Mathias Ferrence (2nd place US Extemporaneous Speaking), Yessica Serrano (6th place Poetry), and Trey Smith (1st place International Extemporaneous Speaking). Other CHS students who competed and qualified for the state Tournament of Champions in April for their outstanding performances are Connor Lichtenwalter, Darienne Story, Carlie Cowgill, Joniya Flowers, Lily Ott, Allison Clark, Summer Dantzler, Kiara Bradford, and Gwen Boone.
Conway High School FBLA brought home the wins to place and qualify for state competition in April. FBLA District V is the largest in the state and full of tough competitors. Congratulations to the individuals and teams qualifying for state in their events.
1st Place: Business Calculations, Business Ethics, Digital Video Production, and Healthcare Administration.
2nd Place: Accounting I, E-Business, Electronic Career Portfolio, Emerging Business Issues, Graphic Design, Hospitality Management, Insurance and Risk Management, Marketing, Parliamentary Procedure, and Website Design.
3rd Place: Business Communications, Database Design & Applications, Introduction to Business, Presentation, and Spreadsheet Applications.
4th Place: Banking & Financial Systems, Cyber Security, and Public Speaking I.
5th Place: Entrepreneurship and Securities & Investments
6th Place: Accounting II and Personal Finance
CHS FBLA looks forward to a good showing at state in April and coming back with students ready for national competition.
